I still remember the day I learned that your heart is not actually shaped like a heart. I was in kindergarten (or maybe first grade) and the teacher asked the class what our heart is shaped like. I was always a shy kids so it was very unusual for me to volunteer to answer a question but this question was my time to shine. I raised my hand with full confidence thinking
I'm going to nail this and become the smartest kid in class. When the teacher called on me, I answered with the drawing of a heart <3. BONK! I got the answer wrong. My teacher had fooled me with a trick question. Since then, I've always thought it was silly that the heart shape is called a heart when it's not actually shaped like our heart. But I've come to realize that it's a good thing the heart shape doesn't actually look like our hearts because if it did, my
heart button earrings wouldn't be nearly as cute as they are.
